Shelborne is undoubtedly the most charming neighborhood in Granite Bay, which is saying a lot considering Granite Bay is one of the most desirable communities in the Placer and North Sacramento area.
Located off Auburn Folsom Drive, Shelborne is a gated community, easily recognized by its majestic gateway – serving as both the entrance and exit of this intimate neighborhood. Essentially one loop road with a number of cul de sacs, Shelborne is comprised of just 87 homes. The grounds are a lush, park-like setting with granite outcroppings, complete with large pond.
The homes are large, immaculate, and elegant – ranging in style from Tudor and Mediterranean to contemporary, but it’s the surrounding foliage that’s truly extravagant. Even with all the retail possibilities close by, Granite Bay locals still head to Quarry Ponds Town Center for tappas, Thai food, Peet’s Coffee, and Capitol Cellars wine bar.
